After hours fee: $500
This fee is charged to see patients for new problems after normal hours. All other fees (consultation, surgery, etc.) still apply. This fee is not charged for existing patients who need post-operative care within their covered post-operative time period.
Ultrasound guided IV placement: $360
We can arrange to have your IV placed with an ultrasound if you know it is very hard to start an IV on you. The ultrasound makes difficult IV’s faster and more predictable. Most of the time even the most difficult IV can be started on the first try with an ultrasound. This service is provided by another company that comes to our office.
Offsite surgery fee: $3,000 minimum
If we do surgery offsite, at a hospital or surgery center for example, there is a minimum fee of $3,000 no matter what surgery we do. We do not add this fee to your total but we do charge a minimum of $3,000 even if the regular office fee would have been less than $3,000.
Additional surgical fee to take over or “fix” a case: $500
For example, to finish removing a tooth started by another doctor.
